I am an essentials girl, both in beauty and style. Experimenting can be fun, but you need to have your tried and true products and pieces that never let you down (i.e. the perfect white tee + jeans or your favourite nude lipstick). The beauty industry is vast and overwhelming, with a product for every single issue that women may have (brow highlighter, crease shadow, lip liner). It’s lovely to see a prominent brand come out with a beauty edit that revolves around a few signature products to create a glowing complexion, sculptured features with subtle highlights, and the perfect nude lip.
That’s what I’m all about and what I believe makeup is truly about: highlighting yourself and your features, without changing anything. Of course you can shape and define, but be yourself and celebrate your beautiful face.
