PURPLE SMOKEY EYE

I recently teamed up with Clinique for one of the coolest experiences ever; I got to meet and have my makeup done by a Korean celebrity makeup artist! Saem Mool Jung, Clinique Colour Pro Artist is a global phenomenon who embraces women’s natural beauty (something I really love) and has also done the makeup of many K-pop stars and celebrities. All of that aside, she is lovely and kind (and very stylish) and I was so thrilled to be able to have her recreate her Smoldering Evening Glow on me. I filmed it for you guys (and have tons of tips from her in there as well) and then did my own version of the tutorial on myself. I’m not normally one to do a colourful purple smokey eye, but I loved the way she used the colours to highlight my eye colour and make the shadow look more dimensional. I hope this is helpful for the upcoming holidays!

Filmed on Sony RX100 IV
A big thank you to Clinique for sponsoring this post and for the amazing opportunity

Jill! This was amazing on so many levels. Your appreciation and humility about the experience is such a breath of fresh air! you are such a beauty inside and out. The look is so gorgeous on you. I’m going to use the techniques you two demonstrated to re create this look using more browns and neutrals. Maybe even some black.
Oh and, I love that sweater…its been in my cart for quite a while.

LOVE this eye look, can’t even believe it. I have hazel eyes and I can’t wait to try it. Even though it is intense, the purple makes it so feminine and so wearable.
