Even though I don’t really go out out very much anymore, I still find the “going out” outfit to be the most annoying to put together. I normally like to wear jeans + a cute top, especially when it’s too cold to wear a dress. Sometimes, I’ll throw on a t-shirt, but if I want to look more formal, or more pulled together, I like having a go-to top. I put together a variety of nicer, evening-out tops to carry you through spring + summer.
1. ARITZIA SILK CAMI
The camisole (as seen on me above) is always my starting point when it comes to evening out tops – it’s simple, sexy and chic. This navy one is a newer favourite of mine – I like that I don’t have to wear a bra with it and that the silk makes it look much more elevated than a simple cotton tank top.
2. ONE SHOULDER BLOUSE
One shoulder tops are one of my favourite trends – they make you feel confident + sexy, without revealing too much. This one from Petersyn is gorgeous.
3. LINEN WHITE BLOUSE
I just ordered this top and I’m so excited for it to get here. It looks kind of vintage-inspired, but still feminine with the cinched waist. Pair it with cropped jeans and pumps for a sexy, chic night out look.
4. SILK/LACE CAMI
Another cami classic, this one with lace – it feels like luxurious, elevated pyjamas. High-waisted trousers give you a more formal, monochromatic look or dress it down with denim.
5. VINTAGE SCARF TOP
This is the ultimate summer top – the colours remind me of vintage Versace. This is a more casual top, which can be worn to the beach or dressed up with a high waist pant + accessories to wear out.
