TOP 5 HAIR PRODUCTS

With hair as fine as mine, I need to work for good hair – harder on some days than others… Here are my current top 5 hair products:

1. JOHN FRIEDA COLOR RENEW TONE CORRECTING SHAMPOO

My blonde balayage goes brassy quite quickly, especially in the summer, so I use this shampoo a few times a week to counteract that.

2. THE OUAI WAVE SPRAY

This product is worth the hype. More than anything I like how much texture and body it gives my hair. And I’m a sucker for good packaging.

3. BUMBLE AND BUMBLE TEXTURE UNDRESSING CREME

I’ve been using this creme for years – it is quite possibly my longest used product (besides, my beloved Cle de Peau). It gives my fine hair so much hold and texture… without it, my hair is slippery and doesn’t hold a style.
I use it in this tutorial

4. JOHN FRIEDA HI-IMPACT RESTORING ELIXIR

I don’t tend to put anything in my hair that will weigh it down, but since I don’t use conditioner very often, I need something to keep my bleached ends healthy. This elixir oil is made for blondes and is both and moisturizing.

5. DYSON SUPERSONIC HAIR DRYER

Pricey, yes, but it has honestly completely changed the way people dry their hair… it’s the safest dryer I’ve used (in terms of not frying your hair) and you can’t get your hair stuck in fan at the back (I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that). Get ready to cut your styling routine time in half.

hey there, my friend! happy Friday to you:). So, my hair is totally different than yours. I’m trying to flatten mine and calm the body down. My top products are Kytoko oil, Rusk Calm shampoo and conditioner, Bumble and Bumble defrizz and Dove dry shampoo (the detox one). I also love MoroccanOil serum. You could use Kytoko oil if you wanted on your ends or if you were slicking your hair back. It’s such a great natural moisturizer that seeps into your hair without grease and adds softness and shine. You know what….it would be the perfect vacation hair product for you when you pull your hair back!

I have similar hair struggles as you texture and volume wise, but my hair is a dark, dark brown. Do you have any shampoo or conditioner recommendations you used to use and love before the tone correcting shampoo? I’ve tried so many and have never found a good fit. 🙁

I really like the bumble and bumble surf shampoo – it gives some texture. I also like the John Frieda volume collection!
