Life update: Chicago was amazing; I had so much fun and totally fell in love with the city, even with a massive rainstorm that completely soaked me (in a white dress, no less). We walked everywhere, went to the regular tourist attractions and to my first MLB baseball game (where I wore the above outfit, but with a baseball cap, obviously).

Needless to say, I should have just stayed, as leaving was a bit of a nightmare. Delays x3 and numerous flight cancellations meant a very short sleep in the airport before flying out the next morning. You haven’t really lived until you’ve slept in an airport.. although I don’t recommend it. But I made it home and am happily soaking up the last days of summer before ends.
