After chopping off my hair earlier in the summer (see the makeover here), I decided to go even shorter. A mid-length to long bob, if you will. I absolutely love the length and have finally played around with it enough to know how to style it properly. I’m still doing my signature beachy waves, but have updated the routine a bit. This has been much requested from you guys and I hope it’s helpful!

your make up looks amazing. If you are faking the flawless, no one would ever know! I had to watch this video just because your videos are adorable BUT I can’t do this with my hair. I wish I could give you some of my volume. too too much. I can’t even cut mine shorter bc it looks like a triangle.

I have tons of hair too and after 2 kids, it’s gone wavy with even some ringlets in the bottom and back. For triangle head, your stylist can do a layered cut under the top layer of your hair to take away some of the triangle. When the top layer is down, it lays nice and heavy and long – no one can see the layered cut underneath it, even when up in ponytails etc. So, you keep the top volume, but loose some of the triangle effect on the bottom half while looking more polished 🙂

I’ve always wanted to be able to pull off a bob but I am seriously not sure that it would work. This inspired me to think about it!

It’s much easier than you think, especially if you have a long bob – start with shoulder length or collar bone and then you can always go shorter 🙂
