smells like fall

It wasn’t until I graduated from school that I started to really love fall. Without the pressure of going “back to school,” it gave me a chance to appreciate everything that goes along with the change in season, like the crisp fall air and colourful leaves.

The sartorial changes that come with the fall season are also some of my favourite. I love layering pieces and wearing oversized coats and sweaters, deep and rich colours, and comfortable booties. I finally purchased my first turtleneck, which couldn’t make me feel cozier and is also surprisingly chic. Pair it with jeans to hang at home (see above) or with a midi skirt and heels for a warm and effortless evening look.

And in true fall fashion, there is nothing I love more than curling up in a big chair with a warm cup of tea and a great book, and lighting a fragrant candle. Candles always make me feel so comforted and cozy and these Glade wax squares are the perfect way to enjoy the fragrances of fall without the mess. My favourite scent is the Apple Cinnamon because it evokes such a festive feeling and makes me excited for the upcoming holidays.

This is perfect—I have all the same feelings about fall! I’ve stocked up on candles and am looking for a turtleneck xx

Cozy evenings curled up in a blanket and a book are one of my favourite things about the season! That and everything pumpkin of course.

I feel the same! Experiencing the fall season without school is a strange but enriching experience, amplifying everything slightly. Also, lovely photographs. Captures the essence of lazy fall days perfectly.
