the dog days are over

Pretty much ever since I was born, we’ve had an animal in our family. I basically grew up in a household where our lives revolved around a dog and 2 cats. I love having a full house and now is no exception: we have 2 dogs and 2 cats greeting us whenever we come home.

Because of the dogs, a lot of our lives are spent in nature with them. Roxy and I are constantly outside, whether we are hiking, running or just strolling through the park. And I am so lucky to live in a place where the mountains are literally in my backyard.

Speaking of mountains, for the long weekend I don’t have much planned other than catching up with old friends and going hiking with the dogs.
